For the first time since 2009, D-E Boys' Tennis captured the Bergen County Group I-II Team Title, sharing that title this year with league rival Saddle River Day. The Bulldogs had 4 of 5 positions playing in the tournament finals on Saturday afternoon, the most of any team, and was able to win 2 of those 4 matches.

D-E's 1st doubles tandem of junior captain Jason Yoon and sophomore Zachary Canelos won their second consecutive county championship by capturing the 1st doubles title after having won the 2nd doubles title last year. At 2nd doubles, junior Sumukh Sridhara and senior Luke Sherman won the title, which was the second title of Luke's 4-year varsity career, and was the first title of Sumukh's career. Neither doubles pair lost a set on their way to the championship.

Hard-hitting junior David Shutov played well throughout the tournament and was the runnerup at 2nd singles, while freshman sensation Martin Schecter ran through the field and was the runnerup at 3rd singles. The team's hard-nosed 1st singles player, sophomore Jordan Runyon, advanced to the quarterfinals in a very tough 1st singles field.
