Despite the rain, a team of 21 students, teachers and family/friends participated in the AIDS Walk New York 2013 on May 19th, led by the AIDS Awareness club. The D-E contingent included AIDS Awareness co-presidents Andrew Ward III '13 and Avery Singer '13, Michael Chen '14, Alli Binstein '15 (and her parents), Andrew Wong '15, Yanal Matari '15, Lindsay Saftler '14, Emily Kim '14, Vanessa Pike '13, Jean Li '13, Danny Carragher (and family), Brian Kosnick, Bill Biondolino, Zack Glosser '16, Vicki Solis and AIDS Awareness co-advisor Jane Park. After the walk, we had lunch at Dean's on 85th Street.
Those who were unable to walk, including co-advisor Dr. Sherronda Brown, raised over $1,200!
