The 2016 Middle School Lady Bulldog soccer team launched their 2016 soccer campaign with a nice win over their opponent, Montclair-Kimberly. Led by Lexi Levine (2 goals) and Ally Miglietta (1 goal) the mighty Bulldogs played stellar defense with Sarah Roth, Angie, Victor, and Daniela Quirola stopping MKA's offense. Paris Cooke-Brown, also recorded her first shut-out of the year...tying the record of the most shut-outs to begin a season.
Several other girls contributed to the victory as well by their stellar play: Celine Kiriscioglu, Diana Mendoza-Zavala, Hannah Model, Finnula Papailias, and Lilly Trentacosta. Sofia Sujak helped draw the defenders away from the center of the field opening up the opportunities that we had to score!
Legendary coach, Coach Garcia, made her first public appearance as the assistant girls middle school soccer coach and inspired the team by her honor, wit and wisdom.
