The team had a great 4-1 win today against Delbarton. Everyone played well and executed great strategies. It was fun to watch them create a plan and follow through. All the matches allowed our boys to shine. Another great boost for us all.
We had a great match on Tuesday against Elisabeth Morrow with everyone winning - despite some crazy puddles on the courts that had parents and Coach Traub constantly trying to stop a river from flowing onto three of the courts. In all 8 matches, we only lost one game the whole day! It was a great showing by everyone. A true domination and a great boost for all of us. Many thanks are extended to the parent volunteers who helped sweep the courts of water!!!!!
We had a tougher loss on Thursday against Newark Academy. Playing through a touch of rain, some wind and even hail and snow at the end, we lost all matches but played well. We lost several games at deuce and the boys felt that they had a good showing against a really good team.
