With nearly 7,200 graduates living in the United States and abroad, what distinguishes our alumni is their sense of community and caring, along with the strong work ethic they bring to their endeavors.
Many graduates are leaders in their fields. In addition to an Olympic athlete and a former U.S. Secretary of State, our alumni include broadcast executives and Broadway producers, foundation and museum directors, economists and college professors, writers and editors, actors and singers, as well as physicians and surgeons.
One thread that runs through the Dwight-Englewood educational experience is the importance of giving back to the community over one’s lifetime. Many of our graduates work with their communities to help bring about change in the lives of others. The
D-E Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes those with exceptional accomplishments in terms of professional achievements, civic leadership and/or social responsibility. The
Athletic Hall of Fame is another D-E recognition program honoring those alumni, coaches, and supporters who epitimize the school's scholar-athlete ideal and who have made impressive contributions both on and off the playing field.
All D-E graduates are strongly encouraged and welcome to submit nominations on behalf of their fellow alumni for these special annual awards! Recognize alumni using the online nomination forms available at right. For more information, contact Maria Sanchez Gardner at 201-569-9500, ext. 3111, or email
